When you only weigh 5 lbs., the little things YOU take for granted can be a menace to little guys like ME.
Let me demonstrate…
YOU: Snuggled up all sleepy and warm under the fluffy down comforter.
ME: Snuggled up all sleepy and warm on top of the fluffy down comforter.
YOU: Flipping your sleepy warm body from one side to the other.
ME: A 5 lb. limp sleepy chihuahua hurling into the air and onto the floor with a startling thump…
YOU: <groggy> “what was that…?”
ME: <dazed & confused> “uh…hello? more like, WHO was that!”
Aye Bendito! Any suggestions???

Elvis- do what I do and lay UNDER the covers. When you feel the flip coming on, nip her in the back-that will teach her to lay still!

Our boys often get tossed in the blankies too. Usually if they’re under the blankies they do better.

Gosh – until now we thought blanket tsunamis were only good for clearing the room of cats loudly begging for breakfast at 5 in the morning.
However Elvis, we avoid them by one of us sleeping under the covers and the other 2 sleeping at the top of the bed on either side of her pillow. This works out well for all.
Hope this helps,
The Brat Pack
