In the wake of the disaster, a small survivor is rescued from the devastation amid the Garden District.

Chi WOW WOW donated $500 to the The Humane Society of the United States to help in rescue efforts for animals stranded and left behind due to the hurricane. Our hearts go out to the survivors of the hurricane and to those that had to leave the one thing they had left, their family pet.

The Humane Society has been rescuing, bathing, feeding and housing hundreds of animals. They are taking their pictures and posting them on Petfinder in hopes of re-uniting the owners with their pets. You can help by making a donation on the HSUS site or by purchasing a Be Kind Collar.
